Our Qode Membership plugin has been implemented to extend the Qode LMS or Qode Listing plugin functionality and it's not intended to be used separately. The point of using the Qode Membership plugin is to provide a user dashboard area, where a user can see the listings or purchased courses (provided that the Qode Listing or Qode LMS plugin is activated) and edit the profile data. It cannot be used to limit access to certain pages or site areas for non-logged users. In other words, there are no specific settings for this plugin that would allow you to moderate the content for specific users.
The first step is to install and activate the Qode Membership plugin. Just like with other bundled plugins, the installation file can be found inside the bridge/plugins folder.
After installing & activating this plugin, the next required step is to create a blank - empty page (you can name it ‘User Dashboard’) with the User Dashboard template:
This page allows you to edit your profile data and see your courses or listings - without it, the Qode Membership will not work properly:
To add the login widget, navigate to Appearance -> Widgets and add the Qode Login widget into a widget area of your choice. In most Bridge demos, this widget is added to the Header Bottom Right widget area and it’s displayed next to the menu.
If you are using the classic widgets editor, you need to drag the Qode Login widget to the appropriate widget area, as shown here:
If you are using the new, block-based widget editor, you need to click on the + icon (Add block):
…find and add the Qode Login widget:
After that, the login icon should appear on the front-end of your website. When they click on the log in icon, users will be able to choose whether they would like to register a new account or sign in.
