If you are using the Portfolio List shortcode via WPBakery plugin to display your portfolio list, you may come across the conflict between the load more and the filter category options.
This occurs because the filter feature filters only through visible portfolio/blog items, and the load more feature loads the next, upcoming batch of items which are sorted by the Date or their Titles – this new batch of items is not currently visible, and therefore it remains unfiltered.
Unfortunately, there is no fix for this at this time, as these are the intended behaviors for both the filter and the load more features. There is no way for load more to add items from a specific filtered category only, and this is simply because the script we use for the filter works in such a way.
There are, however, three solutions we can offer:
⋅ A - In the element options (e.g. Portfolio List shortcode), try to set all items to be visible, and turn off the load more functionality:
