Here’s how you can import the entire theme demo content the quickest way possible, and utilize the one-click demo import feature:
Step 1 － To import the full theme demo by utilizing the one-click import feature, you should first make sure that you’re using a PHP version which is at least 5.6 or higher. The official WordPress recommendation is actually version 7.0 and above.

Step 2 － Since modern WordPress themes are getting more robust and complex, it’s necessary to release more power from the server. You can achieve this by editing the php.ini file or asking your hosting provider to do this for you.
We recommend the following settings:
max_execution_time = 300;
memory_limit = 128M;
upload_max_filesize = 128M;
post_max_size = 256M;
You can easily check on your server resources by using one of the third party plugins, such as the php server info.
Step 3 － After you have installed and activated your theme, navigate to Plugins from your admin panel. You’ll see a notice at the top prompting you to install the required plugins.
You can go ahead and install all the required plugins, however at this stage you should skip these:
⋅ A － WPBakery
⋅ B － Slider Revolution
⋅ C － LayerSlider
You can proceed and install these later on – we’ll get to that in a minute.
If you plan on running a shop or using the contact forms from our demo site, you can go on and install & activate the WooCommerce and Contact Form 7 plugins now:
You should deactivate all other plugins on your WordPress website. This is crucial as it will free up your server resources.
Step 4 － Navigate to Theme Import from your admin panel.
Please note that with some of our themes, the Theme Import is located in Theme Options > Import.
In addition to this, with some of our themes, under Import you’ll see only one demo site offered in the dropdown list. With other themes, there are several demo sites available for import.
In the event you can see more than one demo site in the dropdown list, you can pick the demo you wish to import – otherwise, pick the one demo available from the list.
Some of our themes have multiple demo site examples, while others have a single demo site with multiple pages on it. If you don’t see your preferred home page in the dropdown list, no need to worry – after completing the demo import, you will receive all the pages from the demo site. You can set your page of choice as your home page. More about this later on.
After you have selected the demo you wish to import, you should set the Import Type to All, and the Import Attachments to Yes.
At this stage, it’s a good idea to right-click and choose Inspect – click on the Console tab after that.
Now click on the Import button, and check if you see any errors in the console – in case you do, click Import again. Repeat this process until the progress bar reaches 100%.
Our demo site is packed with images, so the import process might take a bit more time. Please be patient until the import finishes.
On the off chance that you’ve waited for a while and the demo import didn’t finish properly, you can try importing via XML import.
Step 5 － After the demo import is completed, you can navigate to Plugins – here you should activate the WPBakery plugin and any other plugins you plan on using.
Step 6 － Navigate to Settings > Reading and set your page of choice as your home page.
We recommend leaving the Posts page field blank since any page set here will become an index page, which means that the settings you alter on that page will not take effect.
Step 7 － Now you can navigate to Settings > Permalinks > Common Settings and choose a Post Click on Save Changes.
Step 8 － Navigate to Theme Options and click on Save in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file.
Step 9 － Go to Appearance > Menus and assign your menus to corresponding menu locations.
Note that menu locations may vary from theme to theme.
Sometimes it may occur that menus appear as very long and with duplicated menu items – this issue can occur on demo import, especially if the Import button is clicked several times. In the event you run into this matter, simply delete the additional menu items.
Here’s a 3rd party plugin we found very useful when it comes to deleting extra menu items. It renders an X icon next to all items on the menu, and you can remove the ones you wish with a single click.

Of course, you can also opt to delete the imported menus altogether and create your own from scratch.
Bonus Tips:
If for some reason the Slider Revolution or LayerSlider files don’t happen to import automatically, you can import these manually – this issue is quite rare, however here’s what you can do if you run into it.
For Slider Revolution, click on Slider Revolution from your admin panel and Import Slider after that.
Open the extracted folder containing theme files & documentation which you downloaded from ThemeForest. Navigate to XML export\revslider and upload the slider ZIP files.
If you are using the Stockholm theme, the ZIP files are located in XML export\new demos\revslider.

When it comes to LayerSlider import, click on LayerSlider WP > Sliders from your admin panel and then on Import Sliders.
Open the extracted folder containing theme files & documentation which you downloaded from ThemeForest. Navigate to XML export and upload the slider ZIP files.
File names might differ from the ones pictured here
After you’ve done this, you should be able to see the imported sliders on your site.
In case you are seeing error messages for sliders not being found, this may be because the sliders were assigned different IDs on your site than they have been labeled as on our demo site.
In the event you run into this, simply open the page in question, locate the slider shortcode and select your slider from the dropdown list. After this, simply click Save and your all set.
