WPBakery Page Builder is a page builder plugin that comes bundled with our themes. If you wish to use the shortcodes and layouts which are presented on our demo site, this is the page builder you’ll need to use.
We recommend keeping all other page builders deactivated while using our theme.
To start using the WP Bakery plugin, you should navigate to Plugins from your admin panel. If WP Bakery is not installed, you will see a notice at the top of the page asking you to install this required plugin.
Once you have installed the plugin, you should activate it.
If for any reason you don’t install and activate the WP Bakery plugin, and you open your home page in the browser, you will probably see a lot of code on the page – it would look something like this:
You need not worry, however- once you’ve activated the WPBakery plugin, everything will be displayed as intended.
Note: By saying activate, we refer to activating the plugin that comes with the theme; you do not need to purchase a license for the WPBakery Plugin in order to use it. For more information, check the licence activation.
By default, the WP Bakery Plugin is available for page editing only. However, you can use it to edit other post types (such as blog posts or portfolios) as well. To do so, navigate to WP Bakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post Types, select Custom from the dropdown and mark all the checkboxes available there.
Available post types may vary from theme to theme
And now you’re all set! You can now use the WPBakery Page Builder plugin to edit your website content.
