If you’re using a listing theme based on the WP Job Manager plugin, you’re required to enable certain options as well as to install specific add-ons for this plugin yourself. Some of these add-ons are free, others however are not.
Of course you should install and activate the WP Job Manager plugin first.
Why isn’t there a location search option?
If you have installed your listing theme and imported the demo content, but the location search field is not present in the search filter, you’ve most likely skipped one of the setup steps.
Here’s what you can do to make sure that the location search is displayed properly on your website:
- Check if you have installed the Regions for WP Job Manager plugin; this is a free plugin.
- The option Search by Region, located in the WP Job Manager settings ( Listings > Settings > Search by Region) needs to be enabled.
- Check whether the listing locations (regions) exist.
- Make sure that individual listings have locations attributed to them.
Why don’t the listing categories show up?
If you have started the demo import process prior to enabling listing categories via Listings > Settings > Enable categories for listings, none of the listing categories featured in our demo will be imported to your site.
How do I create a pricing plan?
If you wish to create listing packages, you should install an add-on for the WP Job Manager – WC Paid Listings
This add-on lets you create different listing packages, however we do not bundle this add-on with our themes and it is also requires purchasing in order to be utilized.
How do I add tags for listings?
Job Tags plugin will help you add the tags you want to each individual listing. Keep in mind that this plugin does not come bundled with our themes and you would have to purchase it to use it.
