After the demo import process, there’s a slight chance you’ll run into somewhat distorted images featured in your Blog List.
Note that Blog List images are used both in Blog Lists and Blog Sliders as well.
So for instance, this issue can cause the blog slider at the top of Backpack Traveler’s Provence homepage example to appear a bit off.
However, there’s quite a simple solution to this – all it takes to solve this is to reupload the Blog List images.
Here’s how you can do this in a few simple steps:
Step 1 - Navigate to the post page by clicking on the post name or the post image.
Step 2 - Click on Edit Post located in the top left corner.
The process from steps 1 and 2 can also be performed by navigating to Posts > All Posts, finding the post you need and clicking Edit.
Step 3 - Scroll to Mikado Post section bellow the post content.
Step 4 - Reupload the Blog List image found at the bottom of the Mikado Post Update the post page afterwards.
In the case of multiple versions of the same image, you should be mindful of the version of the image you pick; it’s preferable to select a portrait image, with the dimensions at least approximately being 800 by 1157 pixels, in order to achieve the same look as seen on our demo slider.
Here’s how the end result will look after you’ve gone through all the steps:
You can follow the same exact steps for all the remaining Blog List images found on posts shown in the Blog Slider, and you should get the same layout as shown in our theme demo.
