One of the most frequent questions in regards to our tour/travel themes refer to the missing booking form on Tour pages.
This is something that can be resolved quite easily. In order to display the booking form on tour single pages, you should first set up your Booking Info, and you can do this in Theme_name Booking section.
Here’s how you can go about this:
- Click edit to edit a tour item
- Scroll to Theme_name Booking section
- Insert your booking info
Most commonly, this section is found at the bottom of each tour item, but it can also be dragged and moved towards the top, if needed.
This screenshot was taken from our SetSail theme, hence you can see Select as a Theme_name instead of Mikado, as seen in the previous screenshot.
Adding a start and end date, the number of available tickets and checking at least one day is required for the form to appear. Click Save and then Update at the top right corner to update the tour page.
Here’s how the end result would look:
- In case you’ve imported the demo tours during the demo import process, and you activated the Theme_name Tours plugin prior to demo import, there are still 2 additional steps that need to be taken in order for the booking form to appear and work properly. These two include re-selecting the dates and updating the tour page. You should select a tour item page and click Edit to edit this page. Now scroll to Theme_name Tour Booking section and re-select (or insert your own) dates. Then, in the top right section, press Update”.These steps need to be done for all tour items separately.
- In case you omit the tour price, the tour booking won’t work and you’ll get the following error: Tour doesn't have price defined
Therefore, make sure to add the tour price in Theme_name Info Section. Don’t forget to click Update after making the change.
