In order to use listing regions (locations), first you have to install and activate the WP Job Manager and Regions for WP Job Manager.
Some of our themes don’t use these two plugins for listings, but use our own Listing Plugin for the same functionalities.
In the latter case, the Listing Regions will be titled Listing Locations, but they are created and used in the exact same way. In the following text we’ll explain how you can create and use Listing Regions.
Once you’ve activated the necessary plugins, you will see a Listing tab in your Dashboard. Within the Listing tab, you will find a Listing Regions option:
When you select this option, you will see a form for creating a new listing region:
Take note of the Featured Image option at the bottom of the form, as the image selected here will be displayed when using the Listing Regions element while building pages, if your theme has this element.
Once you’ve created your region, you can choose it when creating a new Listing by selecting it in the Listing Regions section on the right:
After assigning listings to a region this way, you can then search your listings by region using the Listing Search element in your pages and enabling search by region in the element’s settings:

Some themes also have a Listing Regions element which lists your regions, and you can filter your listings using this element as well; clicking on each region opens a page with all its listings, much like the regular search:
