To create Extra Services for Hotel Rooms, navigate to Theme Hotel Room > Extra Services, where you will see a form used for creating a new Extra Service:
Take note of the Service Pack and the Type of extra service. The Service Pack offers many options for including the price of the service in the total price of the room. Now we’ll go over these options and see how each one is calculated:
Add to price – Simply adds the service price to the total price of the reservation
Add to price per night – Adds the service price multiplied by the number of nights
Add to price per person – Adds the service price multiplied by the number of people
Add to price per person per night – Adds the service price multiplied by the number of people and number of nights
Subtract from price – Subtracts the service price from the total price of the reservation
Subtract from price per night – Subtracts the service price multiplied by the number of nights
Increase price by % amount – Adds the percentage of the price input in the Percent field to the total reservation price
Decrease price by % amount – subtracts from the total reservation price the percentage of the price input in the Percent field
The Type field has two possible choices - mandatory and optional. If you select mandatory, the service will always be added to the price without offering the possibility to remove this service, whereas if you select optional this service will be available but not automatically calculated in the price.
