To create a new Lesson, you should navigate to LMS > Lessons. There you will see a list of existing lessons as well as a button to add a new lesson at the top:
By navigating to Lesson Settings you will see all the available options while creating a new lesson:
These options let you add a short lesson description, the duration of the lesson, and duration parameter - this can be a minute, an hour, a day or a week.
You can also set whether the lesson is free or not. If it is, it will be available for everyone to preview, without having to apply for the course. If it isn’t free, only the people who’ve applied for the course will be able to see the content of the lesson.
You can also add a message which will be displayed upon finishing the lesson.
And finally, you can choose the Lesson Type. Here you’ll find three options: Reading, Video and Audio.
Reading lessons will display the text you input as the content:
For the Video type you have to input the URL of the video that will be displayed; it can be either self-hosted or you can use a service such as Vimeo or YouTube:
This video will then be displayed as the lesson:
And lastly, you can also select the Audio type. Much like the Video, it offers you to choose how your audio recording is hosted, and input the URL:
Once you’ve created a lesson, it becomes available for selection in your course curriculums.
