In order to create a new Hotel Room first you need to make sure that you’ve installed and activated the Hotel and WooCommerce Checkout Integration plugins.
Once these plugins have been activated you can navigate to Hotel Room > Add New Hotel Room and create a new hotel room. The content of the room will be displayed in the Room Details section in the front end:
Now you can scroll to the Hotel Room Meta Box section. This section determines the overall appearance of individual rooms.
You can use the Choose element on top option to choose whether you wish to display the featured image or the gallery above the room details:
The tabs section below this option determines which tabs will be visible for the room:
Amenities and Extra Services are displayed in the Room tab under the Room Description:
Amenities are selected from a list of all available amenities by typing in the amenity title and then selecting it form the offered results:
To see a list of available amenities and to add new ones, navigate to Hotel Room > Amenities:
To select which Extra Services are available for each room, scroll to the Hotel Room Extra Services section and select the available services you want to display for the room:
To add Extra Services to this section you should navigate to Hotel Room > Extra Services. For detailed instructions on how to create an Extra Service, you can check out this article here.
Once you’ve created a new extra service, it will become available for selection in this section.
To display a room gallery, make sure to set the Enable Gallery option to ‘Yes’. Then scroll to the Gallery Section and choose the images for your gallery from the media library:
These images will be displayed both in the slider at the top (provided that you chose to display a Slider) and in the Gallery tab:
To enable the room location make sure to set Enable Location to ‘Yes’. Then in the Address section set up your room’s location:
The first field is a dropdown which contains Locations; these serve the purpose of grouping your rooms by a certain city. To add a location to this dropdown list you should navigate to Hotel Room > Locations, and there you will see a list of locations as well as the form to add new ones:
The rest of the location settings in Room Settings are related to setting the Google Maps map location. You can input the address, latitude and longitude. You can also add some information that doesn’t show up on the map itself, but will be displayed below the map; this includes Country, Email, Phone an Simple Address:
The style of the map is determined in Theme Options > Hotel > Hotel Room Single section:.
The remaining setting concerns the room reviews. To enable these, make sure to set the Enable Reviews option in Hotel Room Meta Box section to Yes. Then you can set up your review criteria by adding them in Hotel Room > Review Criteria:
Note the Show in Reviews option at the bottom of the form - this option determines which reviews will be visible after a user leaves a review. This doesn’t affect which criteria will be available for rating:
