Most of our Tour themes come integrated with the PayPal payment method. This feature can be easily enabled or disabled in Theme Options -> Tours:
Whether the option is enabled or not, the booking system requires you to add at least one booking period in the Tour Item options in order to function properly:
Note that if you don't add the Tour Booking data in the tour options for the tour period (start and end dates), you will not be able to use the search by month option on the search page:
Once this is done, you will be able to see the booking form on the Tour Item page:
Here, your users will need to input their email address, the date when they wish to book the tour (eligible days are highlighted in the datepicker), and the number of tickets they wish to book. Checking the availability of a booking will also display a subtotal for the booked tickets:
If the booking date is valid and there are sufficient tickets left for the tour, clicking on the ‘Book Now’ button will send users to the confirmation page. If you have PayPal enabled, the confirmation page will display the ‘Pay with PayPal’ button, which will redirect your users to the payment gateway:
If PayPal has been disabled, the page will simply display the price of the booking:
In this case, the booking process ends here, and you can arrange payment with the customer in your preferred method afterwards.
In Theme Tour -> Booking, you can see information about the bookings made on your website:
You can also choose to receive copies of the booking emails sent to the customers by enabling the option in Theme Options -> Tours:
